Join Heike von Schlebrügge on a guided tour of the special exhibition “CHILDREN OF WAR – Were Your (Grand)Parents Nazis?” and discover the stories behind the scenes on display.
Using historic dollhouses, the artist has recreated formative memories of her parents’ experiences of National Socialism, the war and the post-war period.
During these special guided tours, she offers personal insights into the creation of the exhibition, her own family history and her exploration of the experiences of a generation of German war and post-war children.
The tours also address how memories are passed down within families and how experiences of the war and post-war period continue to resonate today.
Tours take place on Saturdays at 2 pm at the BADEHAUS Memorial Site:
