What was it like during the war? How did our own parents experience bombing raids, flight, loss, persecution and expulsion as children?
In the special exhibition “KRIEGSKINDER – Were Your (Grand)Parents Nazis?”, artist Heike von Schlebrügge brings her parents’ formative memories to life through striking miniature room installations and personal documents from her family.
Join the artist on a guided tour of the exhibition and discover the personal stories behind the individual scenes as well as the background to their creation.
Afterwards, a storytelling café will provide an opportunity for exchange and personal conversation.
